Fully digital workflows combined with computer-guided implant surgery have enhanced prosthetically driven planning in full-arch rehabilitation. This report describes the clinical application of a comprehensive digital protocol for early loading of implant-supported fixed complete prostheses.
A patient requiring full-arch rehabilitation was treated using cone-beam computed tomography, intraoral scanning, virtual implant planning, CAD-CAM prosthetic design, and 3D-printed surgical guides.
Insertion torque values and implant stability parameters were assessed to support the early loading decision.
Screw-retained provisional prostheses fabricated in polymethyl methacrylate were delivered shortly after surgery.
In this specific clinical case, follow-up demonstrated stable peri-implant tissues, satisfactory esthetic outcomes, and absence of biological or mechanical complications.
This approach demonstrated a successful outcome in this specific clinical scenario and is consistent with findings reported in the literature regarding digital workflows and early loading protocols.
